Promoted to Glory 11th April 2023
Peacefully at Lagan Valley Hospital. Much-loved husband of the late Pat, Lenwood Drive, Dunmurry and beloved father of Barbara, Brian & Valerie. Also a dear brother of Tom and a devoted grandfather & great-grandfather.
Following a committal at Roselawn Crematorium on Friday 28th April at 10.00am, a Service of Thanksgiving for Jack’s life will be held in The Salvation Army, Belfast Citadel, 38 Dublin Road, Belfast at 12.00noon. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to Salvation Army, Belfast Citadel via the link above. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.
Servant of God, well done! Rest from thy loved employ! The battle fought, the victory won. Enter the Master’s joy.
The family is most grateful for the support that they received at Roselawn Crematorium and at The Service of Thanksgiving that was held at Belfast Citadel. A recording of the service is now available on the Belfast Citadel Facebook page.
I was working with Jack for almost a year now and what a pleasure it was . Jack became a friend very quickly. I will miss our chats about life and all the things he done in the past. I looked forward to seeing him and could of listened to him for hours. I am really heartbroken of this news. Condolences to all his family.
What a beautiful soul he was. Back in the arms of your beautiful wife.
Jack was a former colleague, well respected and deserves his rightful place in The Kingdom. The Salvation Army couldn’t ask for a better role model than Jack Moore
Jack was like an older brother I never had and was my mentor and guiding light.
I will miss all of our chats and advice and you will never be forgotten.
Almighty Father the GAOTU, we bless your Holy Name.
For all who have completed their earthly course in your faith and are now at rest we remember before you, your servant Jack Moore, giving you thanks for the gift of his friendship and for his life and devotion to Freemasonry, and the upholding of peace love and harmony.
Although we grieve we also know what joy Jack Moore has in the place you have prepared for him.
Help us today not to think of the darkness of Death, but the joy of life everlasting in your presence.
Help us to face death with courage and grace, because the best tribute we can pay Jack Moore is not tears but the comfort of knowing that Jack Moore is at home with his Lord.
Amen
Condolences to the family for their loss . I remember the family from Hornbeam Road .
Jack was one in a million. Went to the colouring group with him in Finaghy library.
He was a gentleman.
Completely gutted
RIP Jack
